Earth Action
Actions
Using Earth Resilience is free. Some real-world activities may involve optional costs. Each action has a safety line. None of them promise a measured result.
Autumn
The season is meteorological and follows the country you chose. With no country, the northern hemisphere is used. Australia, New Zealand, South Africa, Argentina and Chile use the southern calendar. Other countries, including those near the equator, use the northern calendar until a local season exists. This is not a weather forecast.
- Repair one thing instead of buying a new oneChoose a garment, tool or piece of furniture that can still be used if it is repaired. The action is registered when the repair is finished.
- Wash one load at 30°COne ordinary load at a lower temperature, when the textile allows it. This is a registered habit, not a measured energy saving.
- Plan meals so less food is wastedLook at what is already at home and decide what will be eaten over the next few days. No weight is required, and none is claimed.
- Check in with a neighborOne concrete contact with someone nearby. It may be a greeting, a practical errand or an offer of help. Nothing about the person needs to be published.
- Stop a dripping tapA tap in your own home that drips. A new washer may cost a little, but the action requires no purchase if the drip can be stopped another way.
- Learn one species that belongs where you liveIdentify one plant, insect or bird and find out what it needs. Recognizing a species is a registered learning action, not a verified conservation outcome.
- Replace one short car tripA journey you were going to make anyway, on foot, by bicycle, by public transport, or by combining two errands. Accessible alternatives count too.
- Switch off what is left on without being usedA pass through devices left on standby in your home. Fridge, freezer, alarms and medical equipment stay untouched.
- Teach someone a practical skillShow a skill you already have: repairing, cooking, sewing, growing, reading a bill, or another concrete thing. No payment, and do not publish the learner's name.
- Pick up litter in a safe public placeA short round collecting what is safe to touch, in a place you are allowed to be. It is a registered effort, not a measurement of how clean an area is.
- Write a household list for the first few daysA list of water, medicines you already have, important numbers, and where the household would meet if you were separated. The list stays with you.
- Find a local effort that already existsLook up an association, a garden, a repair evening or a municipal activity. You do not have to join. The action is that you know where to turn.
- Stop a draught at one window with something you already haveA winter action. Cloth, a strip or a roll you already own, against a window you can reach from the floor. No energy saving is claimed.
- Leave one strip unmown where you decide over the landA spring action. Only land you are allowed to decide over. No species list and no area is claimed.
Missions
Missions are their own records. Joining is an intention, not a registered action and not a group. Sponsored missions are closed: no sponsor is named and payments are off.
Winter: stop one window draught
A seasonal mission linked to the catalogue action. Joining is an intention. Register the action separately if it should become level 1.
No sponsor. Payments are off.
Do not block an escape route. Do not climb.
Spring: one unmown strip
Only where you may decide over the land. The mission stays open out of season, and the catalogue marks it as spring.
No sponsor. Payments are off.
Not on someone else's land. Follow local rules.
Note one local activity you already know
A shared mission without a group, a chat or a map. The participant count is a real account count, not an organisation.
No sponsor. Payments are off.
Do not claim that Earth Resilience is a partner. Do not share anyone else's contact details.
Household: one preparedness list
A public mission for anyone making the list. It does not create a shared household with other accounts.
No sponsor. Payments are off.
Do not write diagnoses, identity numbers or exact addresses in a note.
No sponsored mission is open
The type exists so a later agreement can be recorded. No sponsor is named. Payments cannot be switched on. A closed mission is not a partnership.
No sponsor. Payments are off.
There is nothing to do.
